Supporting your child's journey
At Anchored Allied Health, we are committed to helping children, adolescents, and young adults build the skills, confidence, and independence needed to thrive in everyday life. Through personalised, evidence-based therapy, we work alongside families to support meaningful progress towards each individual's unique goals.
Our services
At Anchor Allied Health, we offer individualised occupational therapy to support children and teens across a range of developmental areas. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of each child and their family.
Ongoing sessions
Following the initial assessment, ongoing therapy sessions are tailored to the individual's goals, strengths, and support needs. Sessions may take place at home, school, in the community, or via telehealth, depending on what is most appropriate for the individual and their family.
Therapy may focus on areas such as fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, emotional regulation, sensory processing, self-care skills, social participation, school readiness, community access, independence, and achieving NDIS goals.
Regular collaboration with parents, teachers, support workers, and other allied health professionals helps ensure strategies are carried over into everyday environments and supports meaningful progress towards goals.
Therapy programs are reviewed regularly to ensure goals remain relevant and sessions continue to meet the individual's changing needs.
Report writing
A range of occupational therapy reports can be completed to support individuals and their families. These may include NDIS progress reports, Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs), SIL and SDA assessments and supporting reports, school support recommendations, equipment and assistive technology reports, home modification reports, letters of support, and reports for other healthcare professionals.
Reports are tailored to the individual's needs and may include assessment findings, clinical observations, functional impacts, progress towards goals, and recommendations for future supports. Lori works closely with families and support teams to ensure reports accurately reflect the individual's strengths, challenges, and support needs.
Report writing is available on request and is billed separately to therapy sessions. The time required will vary depending on the type and complexity of the report.

We take the time to understand what is important to the individual and their family, ensuring therapy is meaningful, engaging, and relevant to everyday life. Whether working on self-care skills, emotional regulation, motor development, school participation, community access, or independence, interventions are designed to support functional outcomes that make a real difference.
We believe the best outcomes occur when therapy is collaborative. By working closely with families, educators, support workers, and other allied health professionals, we help create consistent strategies and supports across all environments.
